Dishwasher - Would it work for our Indian type vessels

Yes, it definitely works well.

We bought a dishwasher in October 2008, so that my wife need not depend on the maid. Years have passed passed since then and we are happy with its performance and convenience it provides.

We spent good amount of time, to understand how our IFB Dishwasher (Neptune) works and experimented a lot, before we finally arrived at the right quantity of detergent, salt and rinse aid required for our dishes to get cleaned. The result, we spend less than what we used to pay to our maid earlier.

In my next and subsequent post, I'd share our experience, knowledge and details we gathered so that it is beneficial to all the visitors.

    It was really good and you have really nicely explained how to use it. I am planning to buy one. I stay in Pune, Maharashtra. Can you suggest which one i can go for? like brand? as in india very less people uses the dishwasher and on net i got mix response. I will really appriciate if you can suggest me in this regards.

    Hello Swamy,

    I stumbled upon your blog trying to look for dishwashers and their limitations. I have to say it is really good. it has each and every detail that one need to know. I am planning on buying one but cant zero down to a brand or a model. so i was hoping if you could guide me. The brands i am considering are samsung, bosch, and seimens. I would really appreciate your help.

    Hi,

    Basically Dishwashers fall under White Goods and availability of parts are kept very very restricted by the companies. Check out their support network in general, in your area, initial Warranty period [longer the better] and Quality of support.
